David Beard

It was with great sadness we learnt of the death of David Beard in the last few days. David was born and bred in Chilton and lived in The Old Forge for many years before moving away in the seventies to Lancashire.

He recently made contact with the village again via Chilton News  and received many comments and contacts, sharing stories and memories of his friends and family in Chilton

David was hugely enthusiastic about this new website and very kindly provided a link to his online library of photographs from Chilton – all he asked was a simple printed credit alongside his photos. We are therefore enormously proud and privileged to be able to share these with you via this site  – simply click here to view his photos
