Village Noticeboard & Benches

Many thanks 🙏👏to John Fowler for organising the refurbishment of all the oak benches in the village as well as a complete rebuild of the notice board. Chilton resident Pete Fountain was lead chippy on the job assisted by John and the two of them have worked to restore all of the benches and the notice board to their former glory. Well done to both!

John has also been busy in his workshop producing the bulb planters that have appeared next to the benches and on the verges around the village. Hopefully they should be full of daffs come March.

John has plenty of daffodil bulbs left over so if anyone wants any to plant outside their house to brighten the village in Spring please drop me a line at
