Phone Box Landscaping – Chilton Parish Council

3 proposals for landscaping the area surrounding the Phone Box and New Community Library have been recently commissioned.

These are only proposals and any resident is invited to support any one of these or indeed to submit their own proposal for a scheme to enhance this focal point in the village.

A resident has already committed to providing a bench for this location and we are considering installing a new Notice Board in this location. Your views on whether the existing board in front of the Bowling Green should remain would be welcomed.

The local authority has already been contacted in relation to pruning the trees overhanging the phone box and adjacent road. This combined with some landscaping will really enhance this area of the village.
