Village & Churchyard Spring Clean-up Week; Saturday 27th March – Saturday 3rd April
Volunteers needed for our spring village clean-up
…join us in the sunshine (we hope) with litter pickers, clippers, strimmers, hedge cutters, trowels, spades, mowers, saws, etc. Bring your tools, gloves, energy and enthusiasm and join us for the big spring village clean-up.
When: The week of 27th March to 3rd April. If you want to borrow litter-pickers we’ll be outside Chilton Bowling Club at 10am on Sunday 28th March (email the Clerk to reserve).
What: Litter-picking, pruning, sweeping, weeding, mowing and anything else you can think of.
Where: Verges along roads leading into Chilton from neighbouring villages, throughout the village and St Mary’s Churchyard.
Who: Anyone. There are plenty of jobs suitable for children (with supervising adults).
All volunteers will be required to follow Covid-19 secure guidelines, maintaining social distancing and good hand hygiene. Thank you in advance from Chilton Parish Council.
