The parish council is considering the survey results and will use them to guide the direction of the village in the coming months and years.
We’re all aware that there’s a speeding problem in Chilton, particularly at certain times of the day. Chilton resident, Nick Wasey, has analysed the August/September data from the MVAS (Motor Vehicle Activated Sign) and has compiled a concise summary of vehicle speeds through our village at all times of the day and night, which makes an interesting read. He’s also made several recommendations for traffic calming, which the Parish Council is looking into.

How far? The route is to be confirmed but will be around 5km, avoiding roads as much as possible
