Safari Supper 2018
/in News /by Bobs DamerellYou are invited to the Chilton Safari Supper 2018
Saturday 21st July
I know it seems like only yesterday but this year we thought we’d try the Safari Supper on a balmy summer’s evening. If you haven’t been involved before, this is a great evening spent touring the village whilst experiencing dinner with a difference; each course is enjoyed with a different host.
The evening begins at 6.45pm with everyone meeting for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles at Chilton House. Here the destinations of your starter and main courses are confirmed. The evening ends back at Chilton House, where everyone gathers for dessert, digestifs, tea and coffee to chat about their food journey that evening.
Naturally, for the evening to work we need enough hosts. Of course, not everyone is able to host a course at home, but you can still contribute in some way by bringing your favourite post-dinner tipple and a dessert to enjoy at Chilton house, as well as a raffle prize.
The cost to take part is £17.50 per person and all participants are asked to contribute to hosting the event. There will also be a raffle during dessert. All proceeds from the night will go to St Mary’s Church.
The Booking form allows you to indicate if you would like to host at home or provide a dessert, tipple and raffle prize for the final course at Chilton House – whichever you choose we look forward to seeing you somewhere in the village at some point but definitely back at Chilton House for a Fun Filled Food Festival!!
There is an online Booking form available click on the link below
Alternatively, you can download a paper copy see below:

Road Repairs in Chilton
/in News /by Bobs Damerell
Just a reminder to everyone that there is a Road Reporting facility on the Bucks County Council Website
If you are concerned about the condition of any road or pavement within the Parish then by all means advise The Clerk – " target="_blank" rel="noopener">
BUT it is VERY important to replicate the complaints via the Bucks website as the volume of complaints adds weight to the reported issues and can often result in a quicker response, so please encourage your friends and neighbours to also report issues to ensure we see a response from Bucks CC
